Terms of Service

1.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Palvoro. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must stop using the Service immediately.

1.2 Account Creation

You may create a Palvoro account in one of the following ways:

• Email and password registration. Email verification is required before you can access the Service.
• Sign in with Google (Gmail). No separate email verification is required, as your identity is confirmed through your Google account.

Regardless of how you register, you agree to provide accurate information, keep it current, maintain the confidentiality of your credentials, not share or sell your account, and notify us at support@palvoro.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Palvoro is a pay-as-you-go AI platform providing access to premium artificial intelligence models through third-party API integrations, billed in credits so you only pay for what you use. The Service enables you to interact with AI language models and use AI-powered tools, including:

• Chat, for text generation, summarisation, coding assistance and similar tasks.
• Presentation Studio, which writes and designs slide decks and returns a PowerPoint file, a PDF and slide previews, and can optionally research your subject on the web first.
• Media Studio, for generating images, video and voiceover audio.
• Document generation and analysis, including reading files you upload and producing documents for you.

Palvoro acts as an intermediary connecting users to third-party AI providers. We do not own, train, or control the underlying AI models. The quality, accuracy, and availability of AI-generated responses depend on those providers.

3.1 What Are Credits?

Credits are the in-platform currency used to access AI models on Palvoro. Every generation consumes credits. How much depends on the feature: chat is charged by length, while images, video, voiceovers and presentations are charged at published per-unit rates. Current rates for every feature and model are listed on our pricing page and may change as providers change theirs.

A generation that fails is not charged. A generation that completes consumes its credits even if you are not satisfied with the result, because the computing cost has already been incurred. Where a price depends on what the finished output actually contains, the per-unit rate is shown before you start and you are charged only for what is produced. Each charge is itemised in your usage history.

3.2 Purchasing Credits

Credits may be purchased at any time through the Platform, processed securely through our payment provider. Credits are added immediately upon confirmed, successful payment.

3.3 Signup Bonus

New users receive a one-time bonus of complimentary credits upon account creation. This bonus is non-transferable and has no cash value.

3.4 Credit Expiry

• Credits expire exactly 12 months from the date they are granted to your account.
• When you purchase a new top-up, any credits nearing expiry will have their expiry date extended accordingly.
• Expired credits are permanently forfeited and cannot be recovered, reinstated, or refunded.

3.5 No Cash Value

Credits exist solely for use within Palvoro. They cannot be refunded, exchanged, transferred, resold, or converted into any form of currency.

4.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our designated payment provider. Palvoro does not store your full payment card details. Credits are added only upon confirmed, successful payment.

4.2 Payment Terms

• Your billing information must be accurate and up to date.
• Palvoro is not responsible for failures caused by insufficient funds, expired cards, or incorrect billing details.
• Failed payments may result in account suspension until resolved.

4.3 Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies applicable in your jurisdiction in connection with purchases made on the Platform.

We do not offer refunds for any reason, including unused or expired credits, dissatisfaction with AI responses, changes in usage needs, account termination for violations, or service interruptions.

If you believe credits were incorrectly deducted due to a technical error, contact support@palvoro.com within 14 days. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a credit adjustment. This does not constitute a general refund policy and does not entitle you to a monetary refund.

6.1 Permitted Use

You may use Palvoro for lawful personal and professional purposes in accordance with these Terms, including research, writing, coding, analysis, and similar legitimate activities.

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Generate, share, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, discriminatory, or threatening.
• Produce content facilitating violence, self-harm, or exploitation of minors.
• Harass, intimidate, or abuse any person or group.
• Create or distribute misinformation or content designed to deceive or defraud.
• Infringe upon any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
• Upload documents, images, templates, or other material that you do not own or otherwise have the rights to use and to have processed by AI providers on your behalf.
• Impersonate any person, business, or organisation, or generate material presented as genuinely produced or endorsed by someone else.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract AI models, training data, or source code from the Platform.
• Bypass or manipulate credit limits, usage restrictions, or account controls.
• Automate usage beyond normal human interaction without prior written consent.
• Develop competing AI products using Palvoro or its outputs without express written permission.
• Resell or provide unauthorised third-party access to the Service.
• Introduce malware or disruptive code into the Platform.
• Engage in spamming, phishing, or unsolicited commercial communication.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination without notice or refund.

7.1 Nature of Outputs

AI-generated content is produced by third-party machine learning systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate. Always verify outputs independently before relying on them for important decisions, professional advice, or publication.

This applies to every feature: chat replies, presentations, generated documents, images, video and voiceover audio. Figures, quotations, citations and other factual claims that appear in a generated deck or document may be wrong even when sources are listed, and generated images and video may not depict anything real. You are responsible for reviewing any output before you present it, publish it, or act on it.

7.2 Ownership of Outputs

Subject to the applicable third-party AI provider's terms, you retain rights to content you create using Palvoro, including for commercial use, unless restricted by that provider's terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of outputs complies with all applicable laws.

7.3 No Warranty on Outputs

Palvoro makes no warranty that AI outputs are free from intellectual property claims, errors, or legal risk. You are responsible for reviewing and clearing outputs before use or publication.

7.4 License to Palvoro

By using the Service, you grant Palvoro a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, process, and use your prompts and outputs solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your outputs.

7.5 Content You Provide

You keep ownership of the files you upload, such as documents and images sent in chat, and presentation templates and source files. You confirm that you have the rights to upload that material and to have it processed as described here. You grant Palvoro the licence in 7.4 over that material as well, for the same limited purpose.

To produce your result, your prompt and any files the feature needs are sent to third-party AI providers for processing, as described in Section 8 and in our Privacy Policy. Do not upload material you are not permitted to share in that way, including confidential information belonging to someone else.

8.1 Third-Party AI APIs

Palvoro integrates AI models from third-party providers via their APIs. Your use of the Service is subject to those providers' own terms and acceptable use policies. Palvoro is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party AI model.

8.2 Platform Infrastructure

Palvoro relies on reputable third-party cloud infrastructure and service providers to operate the Platform, covering database hosting, application deployment, AI memory storage, payment processing, and application logging. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by such providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

9.1 Data Access

Authorised members of our technical team may access backend data as necessary for maintenance, debugging, security investigations, and support, governed by internal data handling policies.

9.2 AI Memory

Palvoro uses an AI memory service to store contextual information from your conversations, allowing the AI to retain context across sessions. You may request deletion of your stored memory at any time by contacting privacy@palvoro.com.

9.3 Application Logs

Application logs may be generated and retained by our hosting and deployment infrastructure as part of normal operations, including request metadata, IP addresses, and error traces, used for debugging, performance monitoring, and security.

9.4 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10.1 Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, provider outages, or circumstances beyond our control. Credits will not be refunded for service interruptions.

10.2 Generation Limits

Generations run on shared capacity and are subject to operational limits. These include queueing when the Service is busy, a limit on how many generations you can run at the same time, and caps on the size of a single request, such as the maximum number of slides or AI images in one presentation and the number and size of files you can upload. Current limits are shown in the relevant part of the app.

A generation may also fail or time out, whether because of a provider outage, a capacity limit, content restrictions applied by an AI provider, or a request that proves too large to complete. Where that happens you are not charged for it, but we do not guarantee that any particular request will succeed, or succeed within a particular time.

10.3 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. This includes adding or removing AI models, features, or pricing. We are not liable for any such changes.

11.1 Palvoro's Property

All content, branding, design, code, and materials on the Platform, including the Palvoro name and logo, are the intellectual property of Palvoro and its operators. You may not reproduce, modify, redistribute, or commercialise any Palvoro materials without prior written consent.

11.2 Feedback

If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant Palvoro a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use that feedback in any manner, without compensation or attribution.

12.1 Termination by You

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@palvoro.com or using the account deletion option in settings. Upon termination, your access ends and any remaining credits are permanently forfeited without refund.

12.2 Termination by Palvoro

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or if your use creates risk or harm to Palvoro, other users, or third parties. Inactive accounts may be closed after reasonable advance notice. No refunds will be issued for terminations resulting from violations.

12A.1 What deactivation does

When you deactivate your account (from Settings or by request), the action is permanent and irreversible for your content. We permanently delete your personal content, including your chats and messages, your Studio generations (images, videos, and voiceovers), and any files you uploaded. Deleted content cannot be recovered.

12A.2 Forfeiture of credits

Upon deactivation, all remaining credits in your account are immediately and permanently forfeited and your balance is set to zero. Consistent with our Refund Policy, credit purchases are final and non-refundable, and no refund or credit is issued for forfeited balances.

12A.3 Reactivation

A deactivated account is disabled. If you wish to use Palvoro again, you may request reactivation by contacting support@palvoro.com. Reactivation is at our discretion and, if granted, your account is restored as an empty account with a zero credit balance. Previously deleted content and forfeited credits are not restored.

12A.4 Records we retain

For legal, accounting, tax, audit, and fraud-prevention purposes, we retain transaction and billing records associated with your account (such as payment and purchase history) even after deactivation, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. These records do not include the personal content described in 12A.1, which is deleted.

In no event shall Palvoro's total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of the Service exceed the total amount you paid to Palvoro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email and/or by a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
